The Nothe Peace Garden
Well done to Weymouth LM for the super effort creating Nothe Peace Garden on the old Quaker Burial Ground. The labyrinth is quite something. I feel sure loads of visitors will get great pleasure from this garden!
Joan and I were at Nothe searching for the TS "Lord Nelson" where we to meet with Jackie from Bridport and decided as we were on the Nothe side of the dock we would look for the Peace Garden. The first dog walking woman we met and asked not only told us where it was but expounded on the great effort of clearing the site which had been an "eyesore".
This effort came to fruition with the help of Weymouth & Portland DC and the Interfaith group in Weymouth I believe. So all credit to all the folk who made it happen!
